We started doing something new at theReign, we are calling it Artist Corner. durring worship we are having one of our leaders, Artist Jessica Byrd, get a picture from God and paint it. When worship is over she explains the picture & speaks the word that God gave her over everyone.
“Come Find Me”
This Word from God is for everyone: As you continue to press in and seek My face, I will meet you. Come in to be with me, and I will fill you in ways and areas that you didn’t even know existed. As you continue consistently, you will climb the mountain by the power I give you by Grace. The Spirit inside you, who you really are, will begin to naturally more evidently show, and you will know me not only naturally, but with your entire being. From the physical eye and reason, the mountain takes so much to climb. With Me, you’ll barely notice its as powerful an incline. Don’t look at others, don’t look at yourself, look at Me.
I love youth ministry!
Last night at theReign i started off my sermon with this question (now remember as a youth pastor, i speak to 12-25yr olds): who here tonight loves sex? Just as i though, every group has one, a guy raised his hand proudly. I followed by this statement “I Love Sex!”… as u can imagine (especially coming from an unmarried pastor) this took them by surprise…
Now before some of you religious ones start freaking out, let me explain… I continued by saying that God created sex, and He loves sex. Therefore, i love what God creates and love what He loves. It is possible to love something before you experience it.
After getting all their attention (all you gotta do is say sex in church, and everyone is paying attention), i began to start teaching our new series “Protecting your Purity” with part 1 on Sex Drive.
Everyone has a sex drive, it doesn’t matter if you are 12 or 82. God put that desire inside of you, and its ok to admit it, but you must understand how to shift your thinking about it.

So i am super excited to start blogging…
This is my first post, and what better to start off with than wishing theReign a Happy Birthday! This has been an amazing 3 years for me. I cannot be more pleased with What God has done so far in this youth ministry….
We have see everything from tons of salvations, supernatural healing and incredible miracles to watching students maturing and stepping into their purposes, impacting their campuses and Reigning in Life. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a young person totally surrender to Jesus and then set others ablaze!
I am so excited to see what God will do in this radical group of young people in the upcoming years!
